Chemcoaters is pleased to announce the promotion of longtime and valued employee, Brit Capizzano, to R&D Director. In this new role, Brit will spend more time with Chemcoaters’ customer base to help them overcome challenges. This will help him continue to push Chemcoaters’ innovative coil-coating technologies to their maximum potential.
Brit has been with the company since 2012, working his way from the ground floor up. He has been a pivotal part of the expansion of the InterCoat® ChemGuard portfolio- supporting its growth as; R&D Project Manager, New Product Development Manager, and most recently as Product Technology and Services Manager. Brit and his teams’ most recent accomplishments are tied to developments in the body-in-white (BIW) and animal confinement markets. Brit says the most rewarding part of development work is being able to take products into new areas and markets, and even more so in markets once thought to be unreachable.
As Chemcoaters’ new Director of R&D, Brit is, “most looking forward to additional opportunities to interface directly with our customers, learn more about their businesses, visit their manufacturing facilities, and get creative on how we can better develop coatings for their applications.” We fully expect Brit to be an invaluable asset to Chemcoaters in the years to come and are excited for what the future may bring.
